4-Month-Old Baby Jordi!

Baby Jordi is here!  We photographed Jordi's parents—Francisco and his beautiful and very pregnant wife Elsa—right before the baby's birth back in October.  Elsa and Francisco asked us to come back and photograph Jordi at 4 months old, so on the day of the shoot we met them at their home. Perhaps it was because Jordi was comfortable being in familiar surroundings, or because he has a quiet disposition, but whatever it was - Jordi was a photographer's dream!  He was easy-going, attentive, and a pure delight to photograph.  In another 3 months we've been asked to photograph Jordi and his parents again. We look forward to watching him grow before our very eyes. Congratulations Elsa and Francisco. You couldn't look any happier!

Carrie's Baby Shower

Our good friend Carrie, owner of Absolute Interior Design, is expecting her first baby this spring. In anticipation of her baby girl, Carrie's sisters and friends threw her the perfect pink party. Although the color theme may have been traditional, this shower had some wonderful non-traditional twists. From the spicy Indian food cuisine to the bar-hopping after party, the day was unique and quintessential Carrie. Congratulations Carrie and Jayson!! We can't wait to meet your beautiful little bundle in just 7 weeks. 

Flowers for Your Valentine

Parallel Photography is so happy to be friends with Anna Mara!  Like us, Anna Mara Flowers is a female-owned business and has been creating her beautiful bouquets for nearly 3 years.  Just recently she opened her first shop in the hip Schoolhouse Electric building in NW industrial Portland and is flourishing.  This Cinco de Mayo we are collaborating on a wedding and we can't wait to see what colorful creations she will put together!  Congratulations on your new space, Anna Mara Flowers!
